I spent every day of last weekend veggin' out in a recliner in front of the t.v. watching movie after movie. Laptop in hand chatting and emailing friends all over the place having a grand ole time...Guitar Hero guitar and remote close enough to grab without getting up if I wanted to engage in some legends of rock...my actual guitar on the other side close enough to grab without getting up to get some practice in for my lessons...my Twilight books on the table next to me if I wanted to read...cell phone on the arm of the chair conversating with txt and pics...coke and snacks close by too. I managed to knock out 15 movies. I relaxed and rested for an entire weekend as instructed by someone way smarter than I. Yeah it was amazing. And it was fun. I loved it.
And I think I'm going to do it again starting tonight.
But I must remove Laptop in hand chatting and emailing friends all over the place with Laptop in hand working on 3 separate graphic design jobs I've been hired for over the past week.
O, and I may go out with work friends at some point. Maybe. O, and a new tat may be involved. We'll see. But thats all. It's going to be great.
Work in the social arena has been awesome lately. People here have become really good friends and we have lots of fun. Us ladies spend most of our daily lunch breaks talking about Jesus. That's always refreshing. All the agents now make a point of giving me a hard time every time they come within and 10 foot radius and then they're caught off guard when I feed it right back ten fold. I now handle all my GA's Blackberry needs and questions, don't really know how that happened. I solved one problem without calling our home office tech support and now I'm responsible. It's cool. I dig it.
I fly to Colorado in two weeks!!! I'm stoked!
Don't hate or make fun...
Me and Harriet are meeting up in Orlando in May which is totally friggin' awesome cause I love my sis-in-law (sorta-sis-in-law). When I was home for the holidays, she was one of the many I introduced Twilight to and now she's as much of a freak as me.
We're hitting up the Eyecon Twilight Convention. We've bought tickets to the Kick-off Cocktail Party with the stars, the actual convention and also bought separate tickets to meet and have a photo op with Taylor Lautner, the cute Jacob Black in the movie. And I think we decided to go ahead and purchase tickets to the banquet. Its going to be a fun weekend. We're staying with Justin and Amanda and having a mini-vacation together. It's going to rock. No shame. We're freaks and we've come to terms with it. It's fun sharing it together. For those interested...Dakota Fanning was offered the part of Jane in New Moon and America Ferrera is shooting for the part of Emily. Still no word on the Volutri, Leah Clearwater and the rest of the werewolves parts. I'm interested to see who they all are. Shooting starts in March, you'd think they'd share the details already. Dang. Killing me.
One of my favorite pics. Vanity Fair shoot out take.
